Join Button Farm as we celebrate our annual Maryland Emancipation Day Event in commemoration of the day in 1864 when Maryland changed its constitution to abolish slavery six months before the end of the Civil War. The program will feature speakers, self-guided tours of the farm’s museum garden and animal pens. Snacks and cider provided!

Drinks On the Veranda
Join us for our annual Drinks on the Veranda to toast the end of summer. Sample historical libations and culinary delights on this intoxicating tour of the sense. Celebrate the life and legacy of Harriet Tubman on the day she made her way to freedom! Relax on the veranda, stroll the garden grounds, and mix and mingle with food and history lovers.
